Dear Friends and Supporters of the Culinary Arts, It is with great pleasure that that we invite you to join our distinguished underwriters and corporate sponsors for this year’s Champagne & Chocolat Scholarship Gala celebrating our 11th year in serving our culinary arts students. The Parisian evening will be filled with sophistication, romance, and enchantment for everyone to enjoy. The 2011 Champagne & Chocolat Scholarship Gala will be held on Friday, November 11th, at the Houston Country Club. This black-tie gourmet dinner will include a champagne reception, silent and live auction, CanCan entertainment, music and dancing. Frank Billingsley, KPRC channel 2 chief meteorologists, will be the evening’s master of ceremonies and live auctioneer for this festive and celebratory evening. All Gala proceeds benefit the Gaston LeNôtre Scholarship and go directly to the deserving students who have a difficult time paying for their education. Gaston LeNôtre Scholarship, a 501(c)(3) organization, allows accessible quality, hands-on training and culinary expertise to underprivileged students aspiring for a rewarding career. The Scholarships are based upon financial need, and academic and professional merit; they range from $500 to $2,000 and are awarded four times annually. As an under-writer, you will be invited to attend a memorable underwriter’s party at the Culinary Institute LeNôtre.
